CUYAHOGA COUNCILMEMBER, DAVE GREENSPAN
ANNOUNCES JANUARY TOWN HALL MEETING
Westlake, OH January 10, 2013 – Dave Greenspan, Cuyahoga County Councilmember representing District 1, announced today that he will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on January 31, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Bay Village Police Station Community Room located at 28000 Wolf Road, Bay Village, Ohio.
This month’s Town Hall Meeting will focus on the rising heroin epidemic in Cuyahoga County. The county Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas Gilson, will be the key note speaker.
The Councilmember believes that a Town Hall Meeting format of information exchange is a very beneficial means of communicating valuable information between constituents and elected officials. “Over the past two years I have conducted over seventeen Town Hall Meetings and I found them to serve a very important role in understanding the issues facing our community as well as sharing the role and mission of county government.”

In an attempt to keep the subject matter of each meeting contemporary, the topic for each meeting will be announced two weeks before the meeting.
The Councilmember’s Town Hall Meetings are open to all residents of Cuyahoga County.
The Town Hall Meeting format also provides an opportunity for constituents to address any issue, subject or concern that is important to them, the district and the county.
Greenspan believes that these meetings demonstrate “responsive and responsible” leadership.
Greenspan has an active calendar of events scheduled and also maintains a calendar of other public events throughout the District. He encourages citizens to attend these events to meet him and share their vision for the future of the County.
