On March 12, 2013, a resident on Roberts Run reported his home had been for sale through Howard Hanna. He recently discovered jewelry missing from the residence and believes it was stolen during an open house that occurred in November of 2012.

An East Oakland resident reported on March 12, 2013 that she was the victim of a fraud. While checking her debit card account online she discovered an unauthorized charge to Detectives are investigating.

A Bay Village PD officer stopped a vehicle that had been weaving and nearly striking the curb while traveling on Lake Road on March 16th at 3:05am. The driver submitted to field sobriety tests and failed. He was arrested for Operating a Vehicle while Under the Influence and will face charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.

On March 16, 2013, a resident on Bassett reported her neighbor struck the resident’s gas line with her vehicle causing a leak. Police advised everyone to vacant the two adjacent homes and Bassett Road was closed down for approximately 20 minutes. The Bay Village Fire Department was dispatched and was able to shut off the gas.

Bay Village Police were called to a home on Eagle Cliff on March 17th on the report of a burglary. The home is for sale through Howard Hanna Realty. Between the evening of March 14 th and the morning of March 17th, someone entered the home and stole copper piping and other valuables.

Three residents on Hurst noted that during the early morning hours of March 17, 2013, someone broke glass out of the yard post lights in their yards.
