Community Resources Services, a local non-profit agency dedicated to meeting the social service needs of the Avon and Avon Lake communities, today announced the 6th Annual “Homeruns for Hunger” event on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at All-Pro Freight Stadium.  Support CRS while watching the Lake Erie Crushers take on the Rockford Aviators!  Game time is 7:05 pm.  By purchasing your ticket vouchers through CRS you are supporting our food pantry and other emergency assistance programs which directly assist Avon and Avon Lake residents.  Ticket vouchers are $9 each and for every voucher sold, the Crushers will donate $3 to CRS.  Visit our website www.aalcrs.org to print off the order form or to pay for your vouchers with a credit card.  Ticket vouchers can be redeemed for game tickets at the Lake Erie Crushers Box Office on the day of the game or any day in advance of the game.  CRS will also be accepting donations of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) on game day at the gate.  Call Pam at 933-5639 for more information.
