Life Care Center of Westlake, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, hosted a fun and family friendly Summer Carnival on Saturday, Aug. 23.
A cook-out under sunny skies, cotton candy, popcorn and carnival games for residents made for a happy day. The carnival is one of the many things Life Care Center of Westlake does to go the extra mile in caring for residents and patients. Smiles abounded as the day went on and game tickets were turned in for fun prizes like stuffed animals and toys.
The carnival is in keeping with an approach to care that earned Life Care Center of Westlake a state deficiency-free accreditation this year. “Life Care Center of Westlake has a team of associates that practice resident-centered care on a daily basis,” said Maryann Dubyoski, executive director. “It was apparent to the survey team that our associates know our residents as unique people and actively involve them in their plan of care and in all areas of facility life.”
Located at 26520 Center Ridge Road, Life Care Center of Westlake is one of four skilled nursing and rehab facilities in Ohio operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
