Westshore Primary Care is growing closer to everyone on the west side with the opening of its new Rocky River office at 19800 Detroit Road.
The office is home to family medicine physicians David Gumucio, DO, and Colleen Stazak, DO, and allergy and immunology specialist Nancy Wasserbauer, DO.
With more than 6,000 square feet of new space, Westshore Primary Care offers a physician group dedicated to caring for the community through every stage of life with personal, quality and cost-effective care.
Dr. Gumucio grew up in Fairview Park. He received his doctorate at the Ohio Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He completed his family medicine residency at St. John Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He is board certified in family practice and trained to treat patients of all ages. His medical interests include diabetes and preventive medicine. He is committed to providing personalized, compassionate and comprehensive care to his patients.

Dr. Staszak holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and doctorate from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship and Family Practice residency at St. John Medical Center. A Family Practice physician for more than 11 years, Dr. Staszak is trained to treat patients of all ages. Her special medical interests include women’s health and preventive medicine. She cares for her patients in a friendly, courteous and thorough manner.
Dr. Wasserbauer completed her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and her osteopathic degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed pediatric residency training at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, and a fellowship in allergy and immunology from Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She has published many articles and has appeared in allergy educational videos, on television and in a recent article in MD News. Dr. Wasserbauer is an allergy and immunology specialist, She is the daughter of beloved west side pediatrician Dr. Thomas Wasserbauer.

Established in 1989, Westshore Primary Care serves the communities of Western Cuyahoga and Eastern Lorain counties. The Rocky River office is its seventh location. With a focus on prevention, their outstanding physicians and nurses work together in primary care, internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, dermatology, podiatry and endocrinology to effectively coordinate care. Lab and radiology services are provided by St. John Medical Center.
Most locations offer evening and weekend urgent care hours. For those times when hospital services are required, their providers are affiliated with leading teaching and community hospitals, such as St. John Medical Center, Fairview Hospital and University Hospitals.
