If you lost your Nike tote bag on Hedgewood Ave. on March 17, it was turned in to Westlake Police. Too bad they had to destroy your pot pipes and the other drug paraphernalia inside it.

St. Patty’s Day Brawl

Fighting in the parking lot of a Weymouth Cr. apartment complex led to the arrest of 2 intox North Ridgeville men (20 and 21 years old) on that great Irish Saint’s day at 6:07PM. Strong drink had been taken; both were arrested for DCI. The younger lout had a driver’s license altered to make him seem older; thus, he was also charged with Underage Consumption and Certain Acts Prohibited.

Thefts

An 18-year-old Cleveland man and a 16-year-old Maple Hts. girl were arrested on March 16 after a 4:59PM theft from a Crocker Pk. Blvd. store. They stole $21 worth of clothing and fled; North Olmsted PD stopped them on I480 and held them for WPD. The male also had an active warrant from Garfield Hts. PD.

A Birkdale Turn man found damage to an enclosed porch door on March 17 at 4:26PM. It is suspected that an unknown suspect was on the unlocked porch earlier that day trying to enter the home, but was scared off and broke the door when fleeing.

On March 18, a Crocker Rd. business found that a company credit card has been used in VA at gas stations and restaurants. The account has been closed.

Threat to Burn Down Bar

Threatening to burn down a Center Ridge Rd. bar got a 34-year-old North Olmsted man ejected from that establishment on March 19 at 1:20AM. He was found nearby and arrested for DCI and Agg. Menacing. It was discovered that he had also been kicked out of another saloon nearby before arriving at the second one.
