WHAT: Several of the churches in the city of Westlake are inviting interested persons of faith and prayer to join together any Thursday evening at 5:45 PM to join in a simple time of prayer for World Peace. Sometimes the daily news seems overwhelming in tragedy, violence and stories of human failings. As people of Faith our recourse is to turn to Prayer. The evenings of prayer will be non-denominational in content and open to all.
WHEN: Each Thursday thru the summer (longer predicated on the community response.) the first gathering will be Thursdays May 21 at St Ladislas parish. The Starting time is 5:45 PM. It will last 15-20 minutes.
WHERE: The site will rotate from week to week.
On the first Thursday of the month The Unity Spiritual Center, 23855 Detroit Rd.
On the second Thursday the host site will be Prince of Peace Lutheran, 31099 Center Ridge Rd.
On the third Thursday the site will be St. Ladislas Roman Catholic, 2345 Bassett Rd.
On the fourth Thursday, our host will be Church of the Redeemer UCC, 23588 Center Ridge Rd.
And when there is a fifth Thursday go to Westlake United Methodist, 28122 Center Ridge Rd.
