St. Edward High School’s theater company, The Edwardian Players, are presenting “ALMOST, MAINE” for their fall performance. The venue for the performances will be the Auditorium at St. Edward High School, 13500 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.
“ALMOST, MAINE” – It’s love. But not quite. Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States – it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it’s just…Almost. One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.
Performance dates are: Thursday – Saturday, November 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 22 at 3 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 216-221-0793, ext. 201, and are available at the door, based on availability.
