Free Vericose Vein Screening

Are you one of the 25 million Americans who suffer from varicose veins? St. John Medical Center is offering a free varicose vein screening event with vascular surgeon, Christopher Smith, MD, FACS. Screening includes a questionnaire, a brief exam and a targeted ultrasound assessment. Results and recommendations provided immediately. Screening will take approximately 45 minutes per person. Safety and Wellness Fair

UH St. John Medical Center is partnering with the Westlake Center for Community Services and the Westlake Recreation Center to hold our first annual Family Safety and Wellness Fair. This fair is intended to increase the visibility of health, wellness and safety resources within the community and will include information sharing, demonstrations and wellness screenings – including biometric and cancer screenings by our SJMC Community Outreach nurses and other health professionals.
Join experts from within our community to learn about safety in the home, emergency preparedness, fire safety, child protection and identification, safety at work, water safety, bike safety and much more. Emergency vehicles will be on the grounds and the UH helicopter will land, weather permitting. The SWAT Team and bomb squad may also be participate in the fair.
