Mercy Foundation of Lorain County Presents the 13th Annual Taste of Friendship Fundraiser

Offers Raffle Tickets for ‘Dream Vacation’

The Mercy Foundation of Lorain County is pleased to announce that the annual Taste of Friendship event will take place on Friday, September 8 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Emerald Event Center at the Residence Inn Marriot, 33040 Just Imagine Drive, Avon.

Once again, attendees have an opportunity to take a chance at winning a dream vacation. Subject to availability, one lucky raffle winner will receive a week-long timeshare and $1,000 airfare voucher. Tickets are still available and may be purchased in the foundation office at Mercy Regional Medical Center. Cost is $10 a ticket or six tickets for $50. The lucky winner will be drawn during the Taste of Friendship event.

Taste the culinary offerings of the area’s best chefs. Enjoy the camaraderie of friends, win great raffle prizes and help to support programs and services funded by the Mercy Foundation of Lorain County.

Taste of Friendship began in 2004 by Dr. Mario Sertich and his wife, Mary Lynn. The event has garnered great community support and raised funds for many critical programs at Mercy, including the including the Wound Care Center, the Women’s Health Center, the Center for Body, Mind and Spirit, the Rainbow Pediatric Emergency Services at Mercy’s emergency services department and the Mercy Health and Recreation Center.

Tickets to the Taste of Friendship event are $75 per person or $130 per couple. Upscale casual attire is recommended. Reservations to the event and raffle tickets can be purchased by calling the Mercy Foundation of Lorain County at 440-960-3545.
