The annual Avon Health & Safety Fair held June 9 at Avon High was fun for all as hundreds of kids, parents and families enjoyed a great day of activities.
Bigger and better than ever, this year’s Avon Safety Fair brought more health and safety exhibits than ever to the event. Demonstrations, crafts, giveaways, prizes and a chance to sit in fire trucks and police vehicles was a sure fire way to learn more about safety in our lives while also having fun! A critter camp and petting farm was an added attraction, while the Avon fire Hook and Ladder truck was a hit for all. Child IDs from the Avon Police and Fire Depts were offered in the school plus much, much more! Thanks to all who made this day a success again in 2018!
