Motivational Speaker Marianne Goldweber Comes to The Normandy Senior Living

Motivational speaker Marianne Goldweber encourages guests to ‘trust their own little voices’ in her visit to The Normandy Senior in Rocky River June 27.

Normandy Senior Living hosted motivational speaker Marianne Goldweber on Wednesday evening, June 27, at its Rocky River campus.

Goldweber is owner of A Village: A Personal and Spiritual Development Center that focuses on ways for individuals to gain insights, find peace and work with others to change the world.

Her presentation at The Normandy included readings and focus on trauma, grief, death, transition and empowerment, offering a fresh perspective on this life and beyond as well as a message of faith, love and hope.

“Someone like me, I’m considered a medium, that’s just one of the labels, I’m not a big fan of that, I prefer myself to really be considered a spiritual teacher,” said Goldweber to guests. “I utilize my skills as a medium and clairvoyant to help you trust your own little voice. I don’t think you really need someone like me for your answers. What I try to do is help you develop that trust through faith and understanding of how the universe works so you don’t ever feel like you are without answers, or rely on someone like me for those answers. I really don’t see this as a gift, I see it as a skill we all have, especially as women, as we just have to be taught on how to use it and trust it.”

The goal, said Goldweber, is to help people get in tune with their spiritual gifts to find answers to important life questions and challenges.

“There comes a point in our lives where we think ‘there’s got to be more than this.’” said Goldweber. “There has to be something behind the scenes, whether it’s something consequential that happens to you or you hear it on the radio or pops into your head that has us questioning is there more.

“I help people understand how this works and how we can utilize that to create loving, peaceful, purpose filled lives. We are all here for a reason.”

As an interfaith minister, Goldweber brings her spiritual work to hospitals, prisons and other social agencies. By seeing through a spiritual perspective, people can grow beyond ‘sweating the small stuff’ to knowing about a bigger plan for their life and loved ones.

“What I’m doing is giving everyone permission to think bigger, be more expansive. To know that you’re never without answers, you’re never without help. Even though you won’t always like the help they give you,” she said.

“You don’t want to waste time. No one knows when their time is up. Act like we are all leaving here next week, get with the program and get some fun done.”

The event was open to the public and included dinner from The Olive Garden.
