April 28, 2020 has been designated “Heroes Day”
At 7 p.m. on April 28 we invite the Avon and Avon Lake and communities to give our healthcare heroes a 60-second standing ovation. This can be done at the end of your driveway or curbside anywhere in Avon or Avon Lake. We also invite you to come out to our local healthcare facilities (addresses listed below) and show your support by making signs and applauding our healthcare heroes (practicing social distancing). We want to let our first responders and healthcare workers know how much we appreciate their dedication to keeping us safe. Thank you for your support.

- Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital – 33300 Cleveland Clinic Blvd, Avon
- UH St. John Medical Center – 29000 Center Ridge Road, Westlake
- Mercy Health (2 locations)
- Lorain campus – 3700 Kolbe Road, Lorain (north parking lot)
- Mercy Health Allen – 200 West Lorain Street, Oberlin (parking lot in front of the main entrance).
