On this Memorial Day, I can’t help but think of how much I look forward to the day’s ceremony for the opportunity to salute and honor those individuals that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
I am always amazed that men and women that never knew me were willing to give their life for my freedom.
This year, we won’t have the opportunity to remember these heroes together and it leaves me with an empty feeling. You may be experiencing the same thing. At the very least, I hope we all take time throughout the day to reflect on and privately honor them in our hearts.
At times, I know this virus has made us feel like we’ve lost our freedom, but we haven’t. On Memorial Day, we honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for the many freedoms we have today.
We thank all those that have served our Country.
