Westlake Engineering and Community Improvements: Senior Center Opening, New Clague Ballyards and Flood Plain Upgrade

Senior Center Nears Completion

City of Westlake Engineer Bob Kelly recently released a video reporting on three community improvements.

Flood Plain Improvements: Improvements to 2 million cubic foot Dover Ditch water quality basin along the southeast corner of Crocker and Center Ridge will lower the floodplain in the area by about 30 inches, reducing area flooding.

Ball Field Renovations: Four modern baseball fields with dugouts, restrooms and concessions stands have been installed at Clague Park behind the Clague House Museum. The fields will open Memorial Day.

Senior Center Nears Completion: The new 27,000 square foot Senior Center on the Westlake Rec Center grounds will see move-in beginning this month.
