Now more than ever the social emotional needs of young children are important to address.
The Avon Lake City Schools, LEAPS Preschool and Applewood Centers have partnered for a program for preschool parents with children entering kindergarten.
A Virtual Preschool Parent Night will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. March 24 featuring Elizabeth O’Sicky, LPCC-S, Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist and Supervisor, presenting, “Social Emotional Skills for Kindergarten Readiness.”
The first 25 families who register and attend will receive a free book, “How to talk so little kids will listen,’” by Joanna Faber and Julie King.
