Avon Lake Students Win 24 Game

Troy Intermediate School (Avon Lake) sixth-graders Finn Matos (third place), Trent Waggoner (second place) and Chace Semmelroth (first place) make it a clean sweep in the upper division at the recent county-wide 24 Game Tournament (math) hosted by the Educational Service Center of Lorain County.

Troy Intermediate School (Avon Lake) students made it a clean sweep in the upper division at the recent county-wide 24 Game Tournament (math) hosted by the Educational Service Center of Lorain County. Congratulations to sixth-graders Chace Semmelroth, first place; Trent Waggoner, second place; and Finn Matos, third place. The 24 Game is an arithmetical puzzle in which the objective is to find a way to manipulate four integers so that the end result is 24.
