Avon Performing Arts Center Opens with a Hit

Avon’s new jewel, the Performing Arts Center at the High School, opened with a hit last week with the drama club’s inaugural performance of “The Little Mermaid.”

Reviews had the show earning rave ratings!

“THANK YOU to the THOUSANDS of people who came out for the “The Little Mermaid.” Thank you cast, directors, district admins, and all who made the weekend a SUCCESS! It was truly special,” said the Club.

The production ran from April 29 – May 1 and gave guests a sneak peak at the new PAC prior to the grand opening on May 5. It was a great weekend to enjoy the brand new PAC supporting the arts and our students! The show proved to be truly special and amazing.

After more than two years of no performances, students and directors were ready to showcase their amazing talents. And they did!
