Mercy Health New Life Hospice is hosting a Memorial Walk on Wednesday, May 22 to give those who have lost loved ones an opportunity to honor their memory.
This is an open house style event where participants will have the opportunity to honor their loved one through a self-guided walk on the walking path that surrounds the New Life Hospice building.
“We held our first Memorial Walk last year to remember those we’ve lost and provide loved ones who are grieving a physical outlet to honor their memory,” said Jennifer Mosely, Bereavement Counselor for New Life Hospice. “As we remind our New Life families often, those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. It is our hope that this Memorial Walk will give those who are missing their loved ones a sense of peace and healing, while also giving them the opportunity to feel their loved one’s presence as they walk the grounds.”
