Born-Crow Appointed Executive Director of Lakewood Branch of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland

Brings extensive leadership experience from corporate and nonprofit sectors

The YMCA of Greater Cleveland announces the appointment of Kevin Born-Crow as the Executive Director of the Lakewood Family YMCA branch. Born-Crow brings extensive leadership experience from both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, making him a valuable addition to the YMCA team.

Born-Crow joins the YMCA after a successful tenure as Director of Operations for New Avenues to Independence, a Cleveland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. Prior to his work at New Avenues, Born-Crow spent 18 years at Starbucks, where he excelled in various leadership roles, including District Manager, overseeing multiple stores in the Cleveland/Akron area.

In addition to his professional experience, Born-Crow is a dedicated community member. He has volunteered with Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Connecting for Kids, organizations committed to empowering youth and families. As a resident of Lakewood, Born-Crow is deeply invested in the well-being and success of the local community and looks forward to fostering the YMCA’s mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Born-Crow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Ashford University and studied Sociology at The Ohio State University. He is excited to bring his wealth of experience and community spirit to the YMCA and looks forward to contributing to the growth and development of the Lakewood branch.
