Meijer Donates $10,000 to Avon Kids

Avon City Council honored Avon Meijer and its staff recently for donating $10,000 to support children in need through the French Creek Foundation.

The Foundation supports many Avon causes, including the Santa parade, community beautification projects and more

“Council is always aware of the French Creek Foundation and what it means to the community in terms of a lot of volunteers who help with the Christmas tree lighting and helping children that are going through tough times,” said Avon Mayor Bryan Jensen.

The Meijer donation will go toward a program within Avon Schools that provides students with a variety of needs.
