Mercy Health New Life Hospice by Compassus hosted its annual Memorial Walk on Thursday, May 15 to give those who have lost loved ones an opportunity to honor their memory.

This is an open house style event where participants had the opportunity to honor their loved one through a self-guided walk on the walking path that surrounds the New Life Hospice building. This was open to all community members at no cost.

“This is our 3rd Annual Memorial Walk to remember those we’ve lost and provide loved ones who are grieving a physical outlet to honor their memory,” said Jennifer Mosely, Bereavement Counselor for New Life Hospice by Compassus. “There are also activities and music to help participants express their grief and honor loved ones. It is our hope that this Memorial Walk will give those who are missing their loved ones a sense of peace and healing, while also giving them the opportunity to feel their loved one’s presence as they walk the grounds.”
