A dazzling evening of vintage flair and three-part harmony arrives in Elyria when America’s Sweethearts take the stage at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 13, in the Stocker Arts Center Cirigliano Studio Theatre on the campus of Lorain County Community College.
In sparkling three-part harmony, America’s Sweethearts celebrate the golden age of female vocal trios with a fresh, vibrant twist. Long before The Andrews Sisters captivated audiences with “Bei Mir Bist du Schön” in 1937, America was already falling in love with the swinging sounds of close-harmony groups. Now, these New York City-based performers breathe new life into those beloved classics with crystal-clear harmonies, colorful costumes, and irresistible charm.
America’s Sweethearts have performed across the country in iconic venues honoring our veterans, including the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and the National WASP WWII Museum, as well as major theatres and intimate cabarets nationwide. Their dynamic performances get audiences tapping their feet to favorites like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” while celebrating American history through music and style.
Formed in 2016, the trio has toured extensively, performing for tens of thousands at performing arts centers, air shows, and museums. They have shared the stage with nationally respected ensembles including The Corsair Blue Jazz Orchestra and The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra.
Each member brings a rich and diverse performance background, combining seamless group vocals with standout solo talent. Individual credits include headline guest entertainer appearances on major cruise lines, performances on the Disney MainStage, solo spots with the Birdland Jazz Band and The Jive Aces, roles in U.S. National Touring productions of Annie, 42nd Street, Hairspray, High School Musical, and S’Wonderful, as well as Broadway companies of School of Rock, Bring It On, Grease, and the world-famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
Their time-honored and high-energy shows feature beloved classics such as “Sing Sing Sing,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Sisters,” “Fever,” “I Will Follow Him,” and many more. The evening weaves together trios, duets, and solo features, delivering a delightful slice of old-fashioned fun for audiences of all ages.

Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the Box Office located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center on the campus of Lorain County Community College, 1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria, OH 44035. The Box Office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.) Monday through Friday, and 60 minutes before curtain time.
