Rocky River Chamber Music Society Concert, Feb. 12

Named after renowned Czech violinist, Antonin Bennewitz, The Bennewitz Quartet will perform the Rocky River Chamber Music Society’s first concert of 2018 on February 12, 7:30 pm, at West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, 20401 Hilliard Road, Rocky River.  Formed in 1998 by four young musicians at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the Bennewitz Quartet will play music by Czech composers Leoš Janáček, Bedrich Smetana, and Antonin Dvorák.  The quartet has appeared on stages around the world including London, Paris, Vienna, Salzburg, Japan, South Korea, New York, and of course the Czech Republic.  For further information visit the RRCMS website at www.rrcms.org, or follow Rocky River Chamber Music Society on Facebook and Twitter.
