Our local astronomer Suzie Dills will be on hand with a telescope or two to show you what to look for. Stop by to take a quick peek or bring a blanket and snacks and stay for awhile. No registration required.
Location: Walker Road Park, 31558 Walker Road Avon Lake by the pavilion
- Sunday August 12, 9-11 p.m., Perseid Meteor Shower Party. Telescope viewing of Venus, Jupiter, Saturn & Mars! Families can bring blankets, lawn chairs, snacks and watch for shooting stars.
What if it’s cloudy? Unfortunately, clouds will prevent the program from taking place. If this is the case, we will have to cancel. But plan to attend the next one!
