Herb Guild Garden Club 2018 Scholarship Winners

On Wednesday, August 1, The Herb Guild Garden Club held its 34th annual scholarship luncheon. Two area students received scholarships, both of which were present at the luncheon to receive them.  Jessica Mileski is a graduate of Lorain County JVS and Wellington High School and will be attending The Ohio State University ATI in Wooster.  She will major in Agriscience Education and will transfer to the main campus in Columbus after two years.  Tyler Edwards is a graduate of Midview High School.  He will be attending The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute with a double major in Agricultural Systems Management and Agronomy.  Both are looking forward to attending college this Fall.

This year’s luncheon, which was held at LaCentre in Westlake, was a big success.  Thank you to everyone who attended and made these scholarships available.  Plans are in the making for next year’s luncheon and the date will be announced at a later time.  Visit our website theherbguild.org for more information.
