Bay Village Mayor Koomer: Back to School!!!

A reminder from the Bay Village Police Department. The Bay Village City Schools start Monday – August 20th – and St. Raphael’s starts Thursday – August 23rd.

Please help keep our children safe. Remember to watch for students on bikes and pedestrians crossing the street. For many students, this will be the first time they are attending a new school with new traffic patterns.

There will be a heightened police presence in an effort to increase safety around the schools. Police will be closely watching school zones and intersections that are “NO TURN ON RED.”

The Service Department will have the 20 MPH school zone flashers scheduled to go on Wednesday, August 15th in order to resolve any issues and to give drivers a few days to get use the school zones.
