Blooming in Bay!  Bay High Key Club Beautifies the Town

Bay High Key Club has been granted $2,500 from the Bay Village Foundation and $1,000 from the Kiwanis Youth Opportunity Fund to plant flowers throughout the school district.

Ground Works Land Design, award-winning landscaping and design firm founded by Bay High 2005 Grad, Tony Nasrallah, has generously assisted with the design and implementation of the project. The club has also worked closely with the district maintenance team to bring this project to successful completion.

Led by Key Clubbers, Angelica Jameson and Zoe Cox, over 100 volunteers, consisting of Key Clubbers, Kiwanians, and Bay Garden Club members, are planting perennials and annual flowers at all six district buildings this week.

Key Clubbers will be caring for the flowers over the next 6 months as a part of their service volunteering to our community. “Blooming in Bay” Co chair Angelica Jameson commented, “Blooming in Bay has been a great project that our board has worked so hard on and we cannot wait to witness all the joy the flowers bring throughout our schools and community.” Key Club would like to express much gratitude towards the generosity of these outstanding community organizations that have made “Blooming in Bay” possible.
