The 18th Annual “Big Splash” Dog Swim at Avon Lake Pool

Saturday was the biggest day of the year for dogs who love to swim! It was the day for the Big Splash at the Avon Lake Municipal pool as hundred of dogs and their owners came out to enjoy the last day of the season and raise funds for the Love-a-Stray Non Profit Rescue organization.

The sounds of happy dogs and the smell of wet fur filled the air at this happy occasion. Dogs in life jackets patrolled the deck and dived right in as they chased balls and frolicked in the sun. GOONIE’S DOG SHOP was there to feed the hungry humans and the first 300 guests received registration gifts.
