Bay Cross Country Wins Middle School State

Congratulations to Bay Middle School Boys Division 2 State Champions, winners in Columbus last weekend. Congrats, Rockets!

Both the Bay boys and girls Middle School Cross Country teams also won Great Lakes Conference championships this year.

Bay Girls Cross Country finished 7th overall at the District Meet this past Saturday, qualifying them for Regionals. Regionals will take place this Saturday, October 30 at 3pm at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave, Youngstown, OH 44512.

Athletes running this Saturday are Maeve Ransom, Abbie Dent, Lexie Bechtel, Brooklyn Marriott, Erin Belveal, Isabella Wyman, Evelyn Ray, and Mackenzie Reinke as the alternate.

 

Boys Cross Country Qualifies for Regionals

Athletes running this Saturday are Michael Muccio, Will Dunstan, James Chilton, Michael Hanselman, Patrick Melvin, Ian Ray, Peyton Myers, and Connor Spellman as the alternate.

Bay Girls Soccer

Bay’s Lady Rockets advanced to District Final by defeating Lake Catholic 5-0 Monday. Goals by Abby Smith, Alexis Knapp (2) and Tessa Knapp (2) — Back line and midfielders were tremendous in front of keeper Rory Marcis who recorded the second straight playoff shut-out!

Bay Girls are GLC Champs

Bay High’s Lady Rockets are 2021 GLC soccer champions! With incredible heart, toughness and relentless effort by all, the girls took home the trophy by defeating Buckeye 2-0! Both goals by Tessa Knapp and a shut-out by keeper Rory Marcis. Congratulations girls!
