The Avon Lake Public Library invites the community to a special appearance by photo restoration specialist, Mark Madere, who will explain how damaged and faded photos can be beautifully restored and preserved during his presentation: “Photo Restoration – The Art and Science of Resurrecting Damaged and Faded Photographs.”
Mark will explain the causes of damage and fading of photographs and how to avoid those situations. He’ll show several before-and-after photographs that were in poor condition and restored to look as they did when originally printed.
Mark will share key questions to ask when selecting a company to restore your photographs to ensure a positive outcome.
For those who want to fix their own damaged photographs, Mark will demonstrate an affordable software that will allow those with a personal computer to do some light restoration on their own. (Note: The software does not work on a Mac.)
During the question-and-answer period, Mark will play a video showing a complete 2-hour photo restoration in only 4-minutes.
Mark is a professional photographer based in North Ridgeville. He has owned SpectraLight Photography & Design since 1986.
Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. via an online webinar sponsored by the Avon Lake Public Library. Register for the presentation at https://SpectraLight.com/RSVP101
