Thank you Bay Village PTA Council for giving Supt. Scot Prebles a warm welcome!
Supt. Prebles formerly served as Superintendent of Forest Hills School District in the Cincinnati area. He started with Bay Village Schools on August 1, 2022.
“I am humbled by this decision and excited to get started,” said Prebles. “This will be a team effort and we are going to make you proud. I will do everything I can to maintain and expand the lighthouse district status of Bay Village Schools in our state and nationally.”
The 35-year education veteran has served in multiple capacities within some of the state’s top school districts, from teacher and coach, to athletic director and high school principal. Before serving as Superintendent of Forest HIlls School District, Prebles was Superintendent at Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District and Granville Exempted Village School District. The Cincinnati native earned his bachelor’s (B.S. in Industrial Technology Education) and master’s (Administrative Educational Leadership) degrees from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
