Bay’s Huck Kurinsky Rides in First BMX Pro Event

Ten-year-old BMX phenom Huck Kurinsky made history as the youngest rider ever to compete in and complete all three runs of the Monster Energy Supercross BMX Triple Dirt Challenge, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, from February 22-23. Kurinsky also entered the Best Trick contest, showcasing his remarkable talent and fearlessness.

Huck, a Global Youth Ambassador for Huffy Bicycles, was joined by his coach and mentor, Nick Bruce, a fellow Huffy Pro rider, who also competed in the event. The BMX Triple Challenge is renowned for its electrifying performances by the world’s top BMX freestyle riders, featuring a specially built dirt jump course where riders showcase their skills in BMX Dirt and Best Trick categories. This season, Huck is set to take his talents global, competing in his first international competitions across Canada, Europe, and Asia, marking a significant milestone in his career. With his sights set on the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane, Huck continues to push the boundaries of BMX freestyle, aiming to make a lasting impact in the sport.

When not on his bike, Huck is a fourth-grader at Westerly Elementary School in Bay Village, Ohio, and actively supports local charities, including the Ronald McDonald House, where he has donated bicycles and scooters to families facing medical challenges. Additionally, Huck represents the Ohio American Academy of Pediatrics’ helmet safety program, “Put A Lid On It,” and has distributed over 1,000 free helmets to children across Ohio.
