Outdoor Wildlife Gardens Reopens at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center

The last weekend in June was a big one at the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center in Huntington Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks.

Lake Erie Nature & Science Center celebrated the grand reopening of the outdoor Wildlife Gardens!

The ribbon cutting unveiled a $1.9 million transformation that will create more engaging learning experiences about native animals for the Nature Center’s 100,000+ annual visitors.

Children and families of all ages enjoyed up-close encounters with animal ambassadors and opportunities to interact with wildlife specialists throughout the reopening weekend.

Thank you to our community for making the Wildlife Gardens Education and Renovation Project possible and for being a part of our reopening celebrations!

You can experience the new Wildlife Gardens during free general admission each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Plan your visit at www.lensc.org/program-calendar.
