Avon Schools Happenings

Avon Students Feed Their Monsters

Avon Heritage Elementary kids got creative with their Monster Boxes—special little creations designed to “eat” their worries away. Each child decorated their own box and wrote down things that have been on their mind, then fed those worries to their monster.

It was a simple but powerful way to help them express feelings, build coping skills, and remember that they don’t have to hold onto their worries alone.

Sometimes, all it takes is a little imagination to make big feelings feel manageable.

Thanks Mrs. Stringer and Mrs. Haney!
