North Ridgeville City Schools Earns 4.5 Stars on Ohio State Report Card

The North Ridgeville City Schools District is proud to announce continued progress on the Ohio State Report Card, improving its overall rating from 4 stars to 4.5.

The district’s Performance Index increased from 83.4 to 83.7, reflecting meaningful academic growth among North Ridgeville students. The Performance Index recognizes achievement for all students grades 3 through high school on Ohio’s State Tests, measuring performance beyond whether students simply meet the proficient mark.

North Ridgeville City Schools also made notable progress in College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness. The district’s score increased from 56 to 65, improving from a 2-star to a 3-star rating in that area.

“These results are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, families, teachers, and staff,” said Stacy Rocco, Director of Curriculum. “We are especially proud of the growth in the College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness. The exceptional team at North Ridgeville High School, led by Principal Meghan Hignite and Coordinator of Community Partnerships and Educational Opportunities Lee Armbruster, is dedicated to advancing this important work. They are creating meaningful opportunities and strong outcomes for our students through career exploration, educational pathways, and pre-apprenticeships.”

Looking ahead, North Ridgeville City Schools remain focused on continued annual growth by maintaining a clear commitment to every student. The district will celebrate its successes while identifying opportunities to strengthen areas for improvement, ensuring every Ranger has the support and opportunities to succeed.
