The annual Bike Parade has become a Fourth of July tradition in the City of Avon. Kids, families and their red, white and blue bedecked bikes and trikes and wagons gathered at the Aquatic Center on Detroit Road for a jaunt under the fire department’s mighty flag as they toured with an Avon Police and Fire escort. Parade Honor Marshall this year was Rania Brown, two-time Div. I state discus champ. Kids were treated to popsicles courtesy of Christian Heritage Church and pool passes from Mayor Jensen.
