Rocky River High School math teacher Joanne Ritschel took 16 Honors Geometry freshmen to Cleveland State University recently to learn about engineering careers and college requirements for an engineering major. Westlake High School has installed a beehive and now the Beekeeper Club is planning to install a pollinator garden. A Rocky River High School team recently placed at the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics contest at Strongsville High School. Twenty RRHS students competed against 72 teams from across the state, including public, private and home-schooled students in grades 9-12.
