Westlake High School’s Academic Challenge Team finished undefeated in its bracket at the Aurora Invitational Tournament held Nov. 16. The win qualifies the team for regional competition. Hilliard Elementary School music teacher Samantha Smith recently traveled through Europe with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, visiting four cities – including Paris, France; Frankfurt, Germany; Brussels, Belgium; and Luxembourg City, Luxembourg –singing Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, with music played by the Cleveland Orchestra.
