Nan Baker Sworn In as State Representative of the 16th House District
COLUMBUS—State Representative Nan Baker (R-Westlake) recently was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly. She represents the 16th Ohio House District, which includes Bay Village, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Rocky River, and Westlake.
“It is an honor and privilege to be elected again to the Ohio House’s 16th District,” said Rep. Baker. “As I embark on my third term, my focus remains the same in that it is about jobs and economic development. My goals are to continue to make this area a number-one priority for Ohio. In addition, our office remains committed to serving the constituents of the 16th District with any issues or concerns they have with state government.”
Representative Baker was a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce for 18 years, having served as president and as a member of the board of trustees. She was also a member of the Westlake Board of Education and served three terms on Westlake City Council.
She has been a business owner for more than 30 years and is active in various community boards and clubs. She and her husband have three children and reside in Westlake.
