On 01/27/2013, at 0142 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Lake Rd. near Lake Park for a traffic violation.  After speaking to the driver, the officer suspected the driver had been drinking.  Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the 17 yoa male was arrested for OVI.  He will face charges at CCJC.
On 01/25/2013, at 2142 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Lake Rd. near Porter Creek because the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license.  While speaking with the driver (who was the registered owner), the officer noticed indicators of possible drug activity.  As a result, the officer conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.  The search turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The 21 yoa male was cited at the scene and will face charges at RRMC.
On 01/26/2013, at 2145 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Bradley Rd. near Ashton Lane for a traffic violation.  Upon speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle.  The officer conducted a probable cause search of vehicle.  Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located during the search.  The 54 yoa male was cited at the scene and will face charges at RRMC.
On 01/27/2013, at 1619 hrs, BVPD received a complaint of two juveniles walking on the railroad tracks near Dover Center.  Officers responded to the area and located two juvenile males behind Dover Commons.  Both boys denied being on the railroad tracks.  As officers spoke with the boys, the officers suspected the boys had been drinking.  Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the 16 yoa and 17 yoa were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol.  While inventorying their property, the 17 yoa had beer and marijuana in his backpack.  They will face charges at CCJC.
