Established in 2009 by David and Rochelle Friedrich of Strongsville, the foundation helps families of sick children in memory of their daughter Eleonore Grace. She was born with Shone’s Complex, a rare congenital heart defect, and only lived six days. The Friedrichs treasured the time they had to hold their daughter in a rocking chair provided at the hospital. In honor of their daughter, they now raise funds in order to donate comfortable rocking chairs to hospitals across the country. So far they have donated 246 chairs, 11 of which are now at Fairview Hospital.
