Recipients Qualify for One-Third Off Tuition and Reduced Room and Board
CLEVELAND – The following students have received a Freshman Scholars
Award from Cleveland State University:
Kassandra Lumsden of Bay Village, OH
Sarah Sherman of Bay Village, OH
Natalie Sherman of Bay Village, OH
Timothy Figueira of Bay Village, OH
Joseph Kubinski of Bay Village, OH
Andrew Ortner of Bay Village, OH
Suzanne Hall of Bay Village, OH
These highly competitive scholarships are awarded to students who have
a high-school GPA of 3.0 or higher and an ACT composite score of 23 or
higher (1070 or higher SAT, with critical reading and math combined).
The scholarships are worth $3,000 toward annual tuition. Recipients
who choose to live on the CSU campus also qualify automatically for an
additional Residence Hall Scholarship, worth $2,000 toward annual room
and board. Scholarships are renewable up to four consecutive years.

Euclid Commons and Fenn Tower residence halls offer modern,
apartment-style living in the heart of downtown Cleveland.
