Parents Without Partners Chapter 1395 is sponsoring a fundraising event for TAPS! TAPS stands for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. It provides immediate and long-term emotional help, hope, and healing to all who are grieving the death of a loved one in military service to America. TAPS meets it mission by providing peer based emotional support, grief and trauma resources, casework assistance and connections to community-based care.

Parents Without Partners (PWP) is honored to aid a support group that is helping the families of American Servicemen and Servicewomen who have made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedom and the liberties that we hold so dear as individuals and as a country.

The fundraising event will be taking place at Two Bucks, 24108 Lorain Road in North Olmsted, Ohio on Sept. 7.The event will start at 5 PM and go until 8 PM. Greg Schwert – Past President of PWP Chapter 1395, is  promoting  this event in the memory of his  son’s best grade school friend, Justin Crum, a mortar man in the Army. He was a great kid and a wonderful friend to Greg’s son while they were growing up. Needless to say, he died too young. “Join in supporting such a great cause and I will be looking forward to seeing all of my fellow proud Americans at this event,” said Greg
