Bay Police: Tip Jar Stolen from China House

The China House on Wolf Road had the tip jar stolen from the counter on September 28, 2013 by a white male and two white females.  Police have a description of the three individuals and are investigating.

 

On Friday, September 27, 2013, a Sandalwood resident called to report items stolen from a truck parked in the driveway and from the attached garage.

 

On September 29, 2013 a resident on Windsor had two vehicles entered during the early morning hours.  Cash, credit cards and gift cards were among the items taken.

 

A resident on Dover Center Road reported on September 30th someone fraudulently opened a Paypal account using her information and charged over $1700.  Detectives are investigating.

 

On September 30, 2013 at 11:51pm a Bay Village Police Officer noticed two males skateboarding in the basketball courts at Reese Park after closing hours.  The officer recognized one of the males and knew BVPD had a warrant for his arrest.  Upon making contact, the male fled the area.  The 18 year old male who remained was cited for park curfew.  The 19 year old male who fled had additional warrants issued from Rocky River Municipal Court for Park Curfew and Obstructing Justice.

 

An observant resident called Bay Village Police on September 30, 2013 at 7:37pm to report a group of 5-6 teenagers had set a picnic table on fire in Reese Park.  A group of teens were identified and face charges for Criminal Damaging, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court.

 

A Lake Road resident reported on September 30, 2013 her Land Rover was stolen from her driveway overnight.  The vehicle was recovered nearby by Bay Village Police.  Police are investigating.

 

A resident on West Oakland observed two teenagers trespassing on the roof of the neighbor’s residence on October 1, 2013.    The resident was able to photograph the two teens who were later identified by the homeowners.  Police are investigating.

A business on Wolf Road had a male enter their establishment on 10-3-2013.  The male was obviously intoxicated and making crude remarks to the employee.  When she went to the back office to call BVPD, the male left.  Contact was made with Westlake PD who later arrested the male in their city for intoxication.  Bay Village Police are continuing their investigation.

 

On October 5, 2013, a resident on Eaton Way reported a male banging on a storage container at Lake Erie Electric in Westlake.  Bay Village officers located the male walking along the railroad tracks and found him to be intoxicated.  He was cited for intoxication and taken to a friend’s house.
