A 20-year-old Westlake man was arrested for DCI and Underage Consumption after throwing up in front of an officer on Main St. on Nov. 3 at 1:57 AM.

Continuing in the vomit vein, a 17-year-old Westlake boy was found passed out on Nov. 3 at 1:42AM. He was inside his father’s van at a Detroit Rd. parking lot with puke on himself. His dad picked him and the van up there; he will be filed on in Juv. Ct. for Curfew and Underage Consumption.

 

An intoxicated 28-year-old Lorain man endeared himself to WPD after his DCI arrest on Nov. 9 at 2:52AM. He was found staggering around with a gas can on Clague Rd. near I90 trying to find gasoline. He was difficult when booked into the jail and urinated on the walls of his cell. He was held for 8hrs and cleaned up his mess before bonding out. Stay classy, fellow.

In less messy news:

Sometime during the night of Oct. 30, a Detroit Rd. business was broken into via a window. A minimum of $300 was taken from vending machines, one of which was forced open. Two others were opened with keys taken out of a desk; no suspects.

A Westwood Rd. home was burgled on Nov. 1 sometime between 7AM-9:45PM. The rear pedestrian door was forced; dressers and a closet were gone through. $2700 in jewelry was taken. A shovel and mattock were found near the rear door and were taken as evidence. No suspects.

A Wakefield Ln. man saw a group of juveniles throw themselves at his garage door on Nov. 2 at 11:55PM, causing damage. They could not be found by responding officers.

A Hilliard Blvd. church was forcibly entered sometime between 1PM on Nov. 3 and 8:24AM on Nov. 4. It is unclear how the unknown suspect(s) entered from outside; once inside, a sliding office window was forced. Cash from and keys to a vending machine were taken, as were cable TV components.

A Westwood Rd. church was also broken into on the night of Nov. 3 after a screen was pushed in a window. Cash and 2 TVs were taken; no suspects.

A TX man’s 2007 Dodge pickup was broken into on Nov. 4 between 6:60PM-11:45PM. The passenger window was broken and a $1000 laptop taken while it was parked at the Holiday Inn. No suspects.

A Canterbury Rd. firm reported a scrap metal theft on Nov. 5. It took place on Nov. 3 at 9:51AM and was caught on the company’s CCTV. The recording is not such that any ID of the male suspect or vehicle can be made.

2 cars were keyed in a Laura Ln. driveway on the afternoon of Nov. 7. The owner of one suspects a female juvenile who does not get along with her daughter. That juvenile denied involvement.

A Center Ridge Rd. woman’s 2010 Nissan 4dr was damaged in her driveway on the night of Nov. 7. The driver’s door window was broken and the handle pulled off. No suspects.

A Forest Pkwy. woman’s hospitality to an ex-boyfriend’s friend was poorly repaid on the night of Nov. 7. The suspect spent the night at her home before driving back to PA; a bottle of Rx medicine was found missing from the room he used on Nov. 9. The suspect has not responded to calls from WPD.

A bogus $20 bill was passed at the Regal Cinema on Nov. 10. It is unclear which register it was received at and no suspects.
