As discussed during the Public Meeting on Nov. 7th work will begin on the Cahoon Road Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project starting November 18, 2013 with preparation work beginning, Nov. 14th. Work will continue through the end of June 2014. The contractor will begin at Wolf Rd. and will continue south to Knickerbocker Rd.
Portions of Cahoon Rd., from Wolf Rd. to Knickerbocker Rd., will be closed for thru traffic during construction. Cahoon Rd. will remain open for LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY. Residents of Cahoon Rd. will continue to have access to the road and all services throughout construction, such as garbage collection, EMS access, RTA bus routes and local school bus traffic.
It is anticipated that the detour on Cahoon Rd, will be phased into two portions as construction continues south.
If you have any questions regarding this project or need to make the city aware of any health or emergency situations, please contact Curtis Krakowski with the Bay Village Service Dept. at (440) 899-3422.
