Bay Village Memorial Day

The annual Bay Village Memorial Day Parade is much more than a march down Lake Road to Lakeside Ceremony. It is a sincere tribute the many patriots who gave their lives for the freedoms enjoyed in our country today.

Monday’s ceremonies reminded one and all that “freedom is not free,”  From the community march to Lakeside Cemetery to hear the inspiration words of homilist Rev. Dr. David Buegler, to the march back to Cahoon Park where emcee Jim Potter introduce Judy Minium of the Bay Village Garden Club for a  special plaque dedication in the Rose Garden, Bay once again honored the traditions of Memorial Day in appropriate fashion, solemnly pausing in gratitude for prayers of recognition to those who died for our country.
