Take the First Step Toward Pain-Free Legs

Westlake – Do you have pain or a feeling of heaviness in your legs? Are your legs discolored or do they look unsightly because of bulging or varicose veins?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, your problem may be more than cosmetic. You may have venous insufficiency, a circulatory problem that deserves specialized care and expertise.

Take control of your vein health by attending a free vein screening event with Christopher J. Smith, MD, FACS, a vascular and endovascular surgeon on staff at St. John Medical Center and the UH Harrington Heart and Vascular Institute. The free screening will take place in the Cardiovascular Lab at St. John Medical Center, 29000 Center Ridge Road in Westlake, from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, August 23.

Following a brief questionnaire, an exam and targeted ultrasound assessment, participants will receive immediate results and recommendations from Dr. Smith.

Screenings will take approximately 45 minutes and are open to men and women. Participants are examined individually in a private environment and should wear loose-fitting clothes.

Reservations are required. For more information or to schedule your free screening, call 440-827-5753.
