Avon Lake Monarch Butterfly Attractions

Lillian McPherson of the Avon-on-the-Lake Garden Club and Jill Ralston of the Avon Lake Public Library are shown at the Sept. 3rd. dedication of a Monarch Way Station located near the south entrance of the Library.  Several butterfly bushes, amsonia, rudbeckia, catnip, and several varieties of milkweed have been planted to attract Monarchs. The area is registered with the National Monarch Watch program.
